  • The user must adjust the laser intensity according to the thickness of his or her skin. The higher the level, the more energy it releases, and the deeper it penetrates the skin.

The amount of energy according to laser intensity for each level of HandyRay and HandyRay Pro is the same, as follows:

    Level 1: 150mJ ±20%

    Level 2: 180mJ ±20%

    Level 3: 210mJ ±20%

    Level 4: 230mJ ±20%

    Level 5: 270mJ ±20%

The laser intensity for each level of Handy-ray light is as follows:

    Level 1: 100mJ ±20%

    Level 2: 140mJ ±20%

    Level 3: 180mJ ±20%

  • Glucose level test, diabetes mellitus test, ABO typing, cholesterol check, POCT and so on.

  • People who have Hemophilia or blood coagulation disorders including thrombocytopenia.

  • The screw exisits for manufacturing reasons, and the user should not adjust it.

However, if inadvertently adjusted, position the product probe toward you and then adjust the screw so that it is at the far right.

  • The user can easily get around 30μl~50μl of the capillary blood sample. Users can get more blood by squeezing and rubbing the finger from the botton to the top of the fingertip to get upwards to 100=150μl.

  • We have concluded clinical trials that prove the safety of the HandyRay-series. Furthermore, these devices have approval from both the KFDA and the US FDA.

  • HandyRay Series Medical Classification

  • The "single-use cap" has two functionalities. Firstly, it prevents direct contact between the device and the skin to eliminate and risk of cross infection. Secondly, as the laser device is the optical device. it protects the lens on the device from contamination,

  • LAMEDITECH gurantees 10,000 times shots for the HandyRay-Lite, 20,000 shots for the HandyRay, and 30,000 shots for the HandyRay-Pro.  We recommend that the fully used HandyRay series device be discarded and recylced according to the laws of your country.

  • If the user requires a larger volume, we recommend the user increase the laser level (1 above the recommended level) to emit a higher energy and for the user to rub their finger from the lower part, up to the fingertip.

  • There are several reasons why the above can happen.

    1) The user does not keep tight and sufficient contact between the laser aperture and the finger. The focal point is optimized when the skin is firmly and completely appied to the laser aperture. The skin should be able to form a bubble inside the laser aperture from this pressure. This is the most common cause for failure, so rememeber to make sufficient contact and to keep that pressure for up to 2 seconds even after the irradiation is made.

    2) If the lens of the device gets dirty. In this case, the energy of the laser will be dispersed from the contaimainated lens. It is recommended that the user clean the lens using the cotton swab with some alcohol lightly applied to it.

    3) The user does not use the single-use cap. It is a common mistake to forget to put the single use cap on. In this case, the lens of the device will be contaminated and blood will not be extracted.

    4) The user reuses the single-use cap. Even if the user fails to get the blood, the cap should be disposed after single-use.

  • The number represents the laser output level. The higher the number, the stronger the output.

(for thicker and colder hands, we recommend applying an additional level to the recommended level).

    So we recommend:

    For the HandyRay and HandyRay-Pro
